Fixed Term for 12-18 Months

Zero Waste Scotland, Scotland’s circular economy expert, has an exciting opportunity for two project manager professionals to manage the successful delivery of projects within a diverse Transformation Programme. This programme is transforming Zero Waste Scotland, making it the leading organisation in driving radical change and behaviours towards products and resources.  Areas of focus include; Programmes & Projects, Finance & Compliance, Customer Engagement & Communications, People & Transformation and Business, Development & Innovation.

You will support the Outcome Programme Manager and project team members by providing professional project management expertise for one or more projects at any given time to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience in planning, leading and monitoring a range of project activities and people in order to achieve the stated project objectives - on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards, that contribute to the associated programme’s targets. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement, risk management and people leadership skills, which will be utilised and grown within these projects.

Salary and benefits

Pay range is £36,115 - £41,260, Grade F, and the successful candidate will be appointed to the starting point.

Location:  Stirling / Flexible / Homebased working considered

This role is based in our Stirling office located next to Stirling railway station and is conveniently accessed from across central Scotland.  We are leading by example in reducing our carbon footprint by embracing hybrid and permanent home working and actively encourage this for colleagues where practicable. There will be times for business needs that you are required to attend the office or a client location (normally within the Central Belt of Scotland).
